Carl the Caveman Christmas Adventure is a game about a character named Carl, a caveman whose mission is to collect Christmas gifts and mushrooms of green, blue, and red color.
Along the way you'll see a series of arrows that will guide you, plus a bonus help when going through the signs with the blue question marks.
But this is not as easy as it seems, very often you'll need to push rocks and so these will serve as a bridge. Other times your task is to push the rock into a current of wind to make it go up or down. Another obstacle is when the rocks need to be hammered to embed them in the ground and open the way; this can be done by using the spacebar.
When the ice guardians are found you should try to avoid them; they will attack as soon as you approach them. The only way to kill them is by letting a rock fall on their heads which is done by pushing any rock to the edge of the platform until it falls.
At the bottom of the screen you can see the count of lives left, the collected gifts, number of keys found, and a bar indicating how many blue mushrooms have been collected to earn a bonus. If you lose and get killed, you'll see the high scores table and restart the level. After you collect all the items in the level a gate will open and you'll be able to move on to the next level.
